This architecturally significant home is an Eldorado Original. Built in 1963 and designed by O’Neil Ford, a highly decorated Texas architect who was elected a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and the National Academy of Design. Hand-carved entry doors, molding in the living room, and louvered doors within the home were done by Master Carver, and O’Neil’s brother, Lynn Ford. The centerpiece of the home is the large living room with terrazzo floors, built-in bookshelves, and a grand fireplace. A center section of the ceiling is raised and surrounded by windows adding natural light at all times of the day. A separate guest house/casita is accessed through a breezeway. The home also features double master bedrooms, guest suite, formal dining room, and a den.
